Get professional rendering skills in 15 minutes a day with the only KeyShot course designed specifically for busy CAD users who need results—not more overwhelm.
Bite-sized lessons. 3 portfolio projects. Personal video feedback.
I spent 3 years as KeyShot's Global Training Specialist
I've taught design professionals at every level from top brands
I've spent the past decade creating learning content
You find a YouTube tutorial. You follow along. It looks great while you're watching.
Then you try to render your own model and... nothing works.
So you search for another tutorial. Different creator. Different workflow. Different advice.
You bounce from video to video, picking up fragments of knowledge that don't fit together.
Six months later, you're still searching for the "right" tutorial instead of creating work you're proud of.
Sound familiar?
Here's what's actually happening:
It's not the money you've spent on courses.
How much longer are you willing to stay stuck?
The KeyShot Masterclass Level 1 isn't another bloated course or random tutorial collection.
It's a complete system that gives you professional rendering skills in the shortest time possible—without sacrificing quality.
Here's what I learned after teaching 1,000+ hours to professionals and creating three previous Masterclass courses:
Most courses fail because they're built backwards.
They dump every feature on you and hope something sticks.
This course is built the way doctors learn medicine: Project-based learning.
You don't memorize tools. You use them when you actually need them—in real projects.
The result?
You learn faster. You remember more. You build confidence that lasts.
I did something crazy.
I took my previous courses—which students loved but struggled to finish—and cut them by more than half.
Not by removing value.
By removing everything you don't actually need yet.
What's left?
Only what gets you results.
This is the anti-bloat course.
You learn exactly what you need. Nothing you don't.
Check out some of the renderings produced by students who already took this course. In just a matter of a few weeks, they completed this course and had about 15 new images and a couple of animations that demonstrate their new skills.

You build 2 complete portfolio projects—and learn the skills as you need them.
GOAL: Immediate results with zero frustration
In the first few lessons, you'll create 3 professional renderings using Scene Templates I've already built.
Drag. Drop. Render.
Why this matters: You need proof this works BEFORE you invest weeks of effort. This gives you that proof in minutes.
What you'll create:
All three look professional. None took you hours to figure out.
Key learning: The Scene Template workflow that can save you hundreds of hours over your career.
GOAL: Master the 4 essential rendering styles every designer needs
E-commerce Rendering (2 variations):
Clean white background. Perfect lighting. Zero distractions. The style clients demand for product pages.
Studio Rendering:
Creative lighting. Gradient backgrounds. Beautiful composition. The style that makes your portfolio stand out.
Lifestyle Rendering:
Product in its natural environment. Props. Storytelling. Context. The style that shows you understand your audience.
Situational Rendering:
Product in use. Real hands. Real context. The style that communicates scale and interaction.
Plus: Your first animation
Simple product animation with camera movement. Nothing fancy. Just professional.
What changes: You stop copying tutorials. You start understanding WHY certain choices make renderings look professional.
GOAL: Prove you can do this on your own
This is where it gets real.
I give you the assets. You do everything else.
No watching me do it first.
Just you, applying everything you've learned to create something truly yours.
But if you do get stuck, I've got resources to make sure you get un-stuck.
Required deliverables:
When you're done, you submit your work to me.
I review it personally. I record a video critique and I tell you what worked and what to improve.
This isn't a generic certificate that says "I watched some videos."
This is proof you can actually do the work.
The Four Archetypes refer to 4 distinct styles of product imagery, all of which play a critical role in product visualization. By learning to create each of these images, you'll be ready for any product image request.
Ecommerce - Distraction-free and informative, often used on product and sales pages
Studio - Eye-catching and thoughtfully-lit, often used on packaging, brochures or ads
Lifestyle - Convey a mood, connect with customers, tell a story, often used in advertising
Situational - Show product function or in-use, often used to support product launches and media campaigns
And of course, we can't forget about animation!
When I was a full-time freelancer, learning to create engaging product animations was the single most profitable skill I added to tool chest. It opened doors and filled my bank account. Bringing products to life is another dimension you'll open up in this KeyShot Masterclass, Level 1 course. Along with the images above, you'll create the simple, but effective animation shown below below.
New to the KeyShot Masterclass is a final assignment
What
This is a self-guided project with support from me. You'll take all the skills you've learned throughout the course and apply them to completing a rendering project all on your own, featuring a modern keyboard.
Why
This critical step cements your new skills, ensuring you're able to draw upon them in the future. Think of this as a final test, where you prove your abilities. I need to see your progress to award you the Certificate of Achievement
How
When you complete the Game Boy project, you'll be given instructions on how to complete the final assignment. I provide you with a 3D model and textures as well as with helpful bonus videos in case you get stuck.
Personalized Feedback
When you finish the final assignment, you'll send me your results. I provide you with a critique video and offer some recommendations on how to continue your rendering journey, as well as awarding you your Certificate of Achievement.
This isn't about "learning KeyShot."
It's about what happens after you know KeyShot.

Important Note: These testimonials are from my earlier Rendering, Animation, and Materials Masterclass courses—not this new Level 1 course (which hasn't launched yet). They demonstrate the quality of instruction and my past student outcomes.
"I had some experience with KeyShot, but I was always a self-taught person following YouTube videos. I changed settings without knowing what I was doing. Before taking this course, lighting and camera settings were a challenge. I feel more confident about my abilities and it gave me the push I needed to start to believe in myself."
— Franco Ruiz Sant, Industrial Designer
"Before the course, my biggest struggle was understanding most of the tools and how to be more efficient and professional. After working through the course, I gained a better understanding of the model sets, image editing, and animations. The best part was the teaching approach, the sequence of classes, and the course materials. The outcome: I'm now more efficient and professional."
— Max Germano, Design Manager, ASSA
"Before the course, my biggest struggles were lighting and image editing. The videos were really easy-to-understand. I learned about materials in general—especially plastics and translucent materials. The course gave me confidence that I'd already understood a lot correctly while still showing me useful tricks and working methods."
— Yanick Beyeler, Designer
"The short format videos give you just enough information to play around with the tools and know what you're doing. My fundamental knowledge improved greatly and I became more efficient throughout the entire rendering process. Even with prior experience, I filled gaps in my knowledge and the course created a strong foundation for continued learning."
— Aidan Harbison, Industrial Design Student
Another tool for your toolbelt
I created the 39-page KeyShot Handbook as a companion guide to the course. Rather than having to re-watch the video lessons, you can quickly reference this handbook.
Printable Handbook:
This handbook contains condensed versions of what you learn in the course lessons.
It's a great quick-reference guide, meant to sit on your desk (or desktop) to help you with future projects.

Here's the deal.
If you go through this course and genuinely feel it didn't deliver what I promised, just email me within 14 days and Tell me why you're dissatisfied. I'll refund you.
You lose access to the course materials when the refund processes, but that's fair.
I'm not interested in keeping your money if you're not happy.
But here's what I know:
The students who show up, do the work, and complete the projects?
They don't ask for refunds.
They ask for the next level.
Technically, you can follow along with older versions. But if you want access to all the features you see in this course, you'll need to be on KeyShot 2025.2 or newer. If you've got an active subscription license the, you should be fine. This is also important because any KSPs I supply you with will need to be opened with a current version of KeyShot since KeyShot's not backward-compatible.

With 15-20 minutes daily, most students finish in 4-8 weeks. But you have as long as you need. If I ever decide to stop selling this course, I'll make all the content available to you to download for free. Go faster if you want. Go slower if you need to. The course adapts to your schedule, not the other way around.
++
Yes! I'm really excited that every video lesson now has the option to enable subtitles and can even be translated into 31 languages.
+++
I've tried learning KeyShot before and failed. Will this actually be different?
Yes, and here's why: You failed because you were tutorial hopping without a system. Random videos don't build on each other. This course is a clear, linear path with frequent milestones. You always know what's next. Students who failed with other methods succeed here because the structure works.
+
1. This is completely redesigned—less than half the length with better teaching methods
2. New projects, new workflow, refined approach based on teaching 1,000+ professionals
3. Updated for new KeyShot user interface and feature set
Think of it like buying the iPhone 15 when you have an iPhone 12. It's not just an upgrade—it's a redesign.
+
Yes. This course is built specifically for NURBS-based CAD users. Fusion, SolidWorks, Rhino, Creo, etc. As long as you can export to a format KeyShot supports (STEP, IGES, or native files), you're good.
+
If you can use CAD software, you can learn KeyShot. This course is designed for beginners. I teach in plain English, not technical jargon. Lessons average under 4 minutes. If you get stuck, you have the handbook, the lessons, and email support. I've seen students with zero rendering experience create professional work after working through my Masterclass courses.
+
You have lifetime access, meaning if I ever decide to stop selling this course, I'll make all the content available to you to download for free. Watch on your phone during commutes. Download lessons for offline viewing. Fit it into lunch breaks. The average lesson is 3:47—shorter than a song. You don't need to binge the course. 15-20 minutes daily is enough. Consistency beats intensity.
+
Yes. Email me within 14 days (will@willgibbons.com) explaining why you're dissatisfied. I'll refund you. You'll lose access to the course when the refund processes. I don't want to keep money from unhappy students.
+
YouTube tutorials are random fragments. This is a complete system. YouTube teaches you tricks. This teaches you thinking. YouTube leaves you guessing what to learn next. This gives you a clear path from beginner to confident. YouTube is free but costs you time. This costs money but saves you time. Which resource is more valuable to you?
+
Yes. Lifetime access means you get all future updates to Level 1 at no additional cost. If I add lessons, improve content, or update for new KeyShot versions, you get it automatically.
+
No. The course license is for individual use only. If you want team access, email me at will@willgibbons.com and we can discuss corporate licensing.
(and why it matters)
My name is Will Gibbons.
I've spent nearly 10 years in the world of KeyShot.
But more importantly, I've spent that decade figuring out how to teach it well.
But here's what actually matters:
I'm not interested in teaching you every button in KeyShot.
I'm interested in teaching you how to think about rendering.
Because buttons change. Versions update. Interfaces evolve.
But good design fundamentals? Those are timeless.
Most courses fail because they teach the wrong way.
They show you features, then expect you to figure out when to use them.
That's backwards.
I teach you by doing projects.
You learn the tools when you actually need them. In context. With purpose.
It's called Project-Based Learning, and it's how medical schools train doctors. (I was inspired by my wife's medical school curriculum)
If it's good enough for saving lives, it's good enough for creating renderings.
I've taught three previous Masterclass courses:
Students loved them. They got results.
But the most common criticism I got about those courses had to do with them being too long. Too overwhelming. Too hard to finish.
So I started over.
I took everything I learned from teaching 1,000+ hours to professionals and compressed it into this:
The shortest path to professional results.
Less content. Better outcomes.
This is version 2.0 of my entire teaching approach.
And it's designed for one type of person:
CAD users who need rendering skills for their real job—not people chasing "mastery" for the sake of it.
If that's you, this course will work.
